Yaser Abu Al Naja died when he was hit in the head Friday during clashes on the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip, near the city of Khan Younis. His father, Amjad Abu Al Naja, is a member of the armed wing of the Islamist Hamas movement, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades.

Members of Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, attended the funeral, at which some called "Vengeance" .

The martyrdom of Yaser is a clear proof of the crimes committed by the (Israeli) occupation against the Palestinian people, said a senior Hamas official, Jalil Al Haya, at the ceremony.

The occupier killed a child in cold blood, accused this member of the political leadership of the Islamist group.

The child is one of the two Palestinians killed Friday by the Israeli army in clashes at the border, according to the local health ministry.

His identity and age did not spread Friday but his family said Saturday that he was born in September 2006.

The burial of the second dead Palestinian, Mohamed Al Hamayda, took place on Saturday in Rafah.

Since March 30, the Palestinian enclave has been the scene of demonstrations against the Israeli blockade and for the right of return of Palestinians to their lands from where they fled or were been expelled with the creation of Israel in 1948.
