SFP sanctions eight officials for the work of Paso Express

Among the sanctioned officials, seven are assigned to the Ministry of Communications and Transport (SCT) and another to the National Water Commission (Conagua) and occupy posts at the residency level, general resident, deputy director, director Deputy General and Director General.

With this, the SFP solved 21, out of a total of 24 proceedings for the facts July, 2017.

Thus, a process that included an audit and the launch of several investigation files, through the Public Works Audit and Control Unit of the SFP, and the internal control bodies were partly successful. TCT, Conagua and the National Bank of Works and Utilities

In February, the organization Impunidad Cero presented an investigation in which it directly identified 13 administrative officials of the Paso Express pit of Cuernavaca where two are dead.

On the basis of the Federal Act on the Administrative Responsibilities of Civil Servants, Zero Impunity detected "moderate and very serious conduct and omissions", in the case of the chasm.
