Paris, France. – Greenpeace activists claim to have crushed two remotely controlled aircraft an unmanned aircraft and a small radio controlled aircraft, into a single French nuclear power station to emphasize lack of security in the facilities.
The drone which was decorated in miniature Superman was crushed against the tower of Bugey, 30 kilometers from the city of east of Lyon, according to a video of Greenpeace Tuesday.
Shortly after, the group released a video showing a small remote-controlled aircraft that was heading for an accident on the same wall.
The environmental group says that the plane was harmless, but it showed lax nuclear security in France that uses atomic energy for about 75 percent of its energy needs.
Last week, 19 Greenpeace activists received conditional sentences for another nuclear plant in November. from 2017.
