Tesla plans to build its first factory in Europe

The American Tesla is in talks with the authorities in in Germany and in the Netherlands to build his first large factory in [19459004Europe published Monday the newspaper Wall Street Journal citing executives involved in the case.

Tesla already has an engineering division in Prüm, in Germany, about 30 kilometers from Belgium and about 100 kilometers from the French border.

A spokesman for Tesla declined to comment. Earlier this month, the company announced plans to build its first factory abroad, in China.

Tesla struggled to achieve self-imposed production targets for its electric sedan Model 3.
