CITY OF MEXICO.- Women won more seats than men in the last elections
For a relative majority, 49 women will enter the Senate while there will be 47 men; in the Chamber of Deputies, 48% of the women of the relative majority gained space and the men ended up with 51.7%
INE informed that proportional representation would add 101 more women to one seat, while men would have 99.

He thanked the hard work and dedication of 1.4 million citizens who fulfilled their responsibilities as polling station officials, and emphasized that it was a monumental work that began very early on the installation of polling stations until the conclusion and counting of votes in the box that lasted several hours.
He also recognized the work of 45 thousand election trainers and supervisors who, by the hand of the citizens, have implemented the greatest election in the history of Mexico.
He pointed out that these trainers wore their pink jacket, that they were crossing the country and they made several visits to the polling station officials to inform them and train them, which means that they have put the name of the INE very high and that the other workers of the institute are characterized by the professionalism that they print to this autonomous body of the Mexican state.
Lorenzo Córdova addressed and thanked the citizens for appropriating a fundamental principle in democracy to vote with freedom and with regard to plurality. "It's the best way to build a future together."
Finally, he recognized the work of the media and journalists who have professionally dedicated themselves to report punctually all the details of the greatest election of our history in an informative context threatened by misinformation.
