AutoCosmos reports that "Longtail" is a historical family name for McLaren models. This is the sportiest and most focused model on the Sport Series track, the McLaren Access range, positioned on top of the 540C, 570S and 570 Spyder models and models 720S.

Inspired by the design of the 675LT but using the 570S as a base, the new McLaren model introduces a new 74mm longer silhouette and incorporates several exclusive aerodynamic elements, including an extended front divider, a larger rear diffuser and a large rear wing. In total, the brand indicates that 23% of the components are new compared to the models of the Sport series.

Thanks to a greater use of lightweight materials, the 600LT loses 96 kilograms of weight compared to the 570S, despite its larger size, scoring 1,247 kilograms.

It maintains as a base the central carbon fiber mococasco and front and rear aluminum-made trains (including suspension), although the center of gravity is lowered. He adds a new exhaust system and an interior with a clear racing inspiration denoting his approach.

The carbon fiber seats were taken from the P1, while the panels and doors are upholstered in Alcantara, offering an option of several fiber elements The engine is the famous V8 bi-turbo of 3.8 liters, well that thanks to a new system of cooling and exhaust, it raises the power to 600 horses and 457 lb-ft of torque, for a ratio of 481 Hp / ton, or 2.07 kilos per horse

Double wishbone suspension, oversized vented disc brakes, recalibrated steering and Pirelli P Zero R Trophy tires are included in the package.

With all LT variants of history (9 units of the F1 GTR LT, 500 of the 657LT), the 600LT will have a production limited to one year of manufacture, starting in October, although that the mark does not indicate how many units they will operate during this period.

The advertised price for England is 185,500 pounds, or about 4.8 million Mexican pesos.
