Tampico Mayor Magdalena Peraza Guerra attended the tenth working meeting to fight against vector-borne diseases, tuberculosis, vaccination and pregnant teenagers in southern Tamaulipas.
] At this important working meeting, also attended the Secretary of Health of the state government, Dr. Gloria de Jesus Molina Gamboa, the Under-Secretary of Prevention and Promotion of the health; Dr. Alejandro García Barrientos, the municipal president of Altamira; Alma Laura Amparán Cruz, representing the Mayor of Ciudad Madero, José Andrés Zorrila Moreno; Mr. Adalberto Elizondo Villarreal, as well as the representatives of the health courts, the health authorities of the public and private clinics and the hospitals of the southern zone of Tamaulipas.
At the meeting, held at the facilities of the House of Culture Tampico, pointed out that the city of Buenos Aires has made important actions to control various diseases such as dengue, zyka and chikungunya.
In his participation, the first authority of Tampico is referred; "We continue to work as a team as we have done to give the best results for the good of the people of this southern region of Tamaulipas."
He also indicated that through meetings conducted by the Secretary of State for Health, Preventive actions in the agglomeration area for the well-being of its inhabitants are a great measure.
It was detailed that in July several actions were carried out in coordination with the vector department of sanitary jurisdiction number two, on the steps of Pánuco the coconut palms and the White House since they are considered of great importance in the epidemiological surveillance between Tamaulipas and Veracruz.
Similarly, outreach activities are conducted in the colony of heroes, Guadalupe Victoria, and Colonia Las Américas.
The Tampico government cares and deals with important issues such as the health of its citizens.
