Octopath Traveler will finally debut tomorrow for Nintendo Switch. Prior to its creation, Square Enix shared some additional details about the JRPG, specifically its job system.
Over the months, we met the characters of this adventure and their respective skills. In total, there will be 8 initial jobs: Warrior, Dancer, Merchant, Apothecary, Thief, Hunter, Scholar and Cleric.
However, there will be 4 secret jobs that will give you powerful abilities. The Warlord will be an expert in the military arts, while the owl will end his rivals with powerful magical attacks. As its name indicates, the Rune Lord will fight with the power of the runes and the Enchanter will have the divine protection of the stars. Each character will have a main job; however, they may occupy another one under certain conditions.
Depending on the chosen job, the character's settings will be adjusted. In addition, it will increase the variety of weapons that can be equipped and the skills that can be acquired. With each job, the appearance of the heroes will also be changed. Here are some pictures of the JRPG:
