Telecomunicaciones de México (Telecomm) has published the call for the International Public Competition to develop the Central Network project through a Public-Private Partnership Agreement (PPP), a project that aims to increase fiber coverage active optics in the country to provide connectivity to at least 80 percent of the population.

It should be noted that the purpose of the Red Trunk project is to bring fiber optics to the population so that at least this percentage of the population is within a maximum distance of 35 km from the trunk. a point of presence (POP).
