CITY OF MEXICO, July 19, 2018.- The Federal Prosecutor's Office (Profeco) reports that it has detected profiles and pages that fraudulently offer "free" mobile Internet services, which are promoted in Social networks with captions like "Free unlimited internet", "Internet without limits", "Internet limited to Mexico", "Internet Free Mexico", among others.

In the follow-up that Profeco did to find out how these supposed ISPs work, it was detected that they were asking for the deposit of some money (either in a single exposure or recurring payments), in exchange for sending passwords, passwords and / or applications, through which they can browse the Internet, from a mobile phone equipment, free of charge without generating fees or even having a balance.

Later, they ask that a photo be sent of the receipt, to be able to identify the payment. However, when performing the specified procedure, no password or application is received, or they are not used to obtain published free form services, according to a statement from the Attorney General's Office . It has been detected that those who offer this type of services such as:
