The first were former candidates for mayor of Monterrey, Patricio "El Pato" Zambrano, Pedro Alejo Rodriguez, "Fufito" and Adalberto Madero, who went separately to ETO to challenge the elections July 1st.
Zambrano and Madero arrived at almost the same time and filed a non-compliance lawsuit arguing that there were a large number of irregularities in the elections and in the post-election process.
First of all, Zambrano presents the document where they ask that the total of the thousand be contested. 606 places were installed in Monterrey for the elections.
For his part, Adalberto Madero arrived at the scene with a box full of papers, which he said were proof of the inconsistencies that were presented during the July 1 election day.
The president of the PRD in Monterrey, César Cuéllar, also went to the TEE in search of challenging the election in that municipality.
During the night, Adrián de la Garza, PRI candidate, also went to the electorate and explained that his legal recourse proposed that the entire election be canceled, although in the event that it would be refused or, where applicable, the results of 380 locations are invalidated.
