This is how this young man ended up after the viral challenge of hot water

A 15-year-old teenager from the state of Indiana, USA, was severely burned after performing a dangerous viral challenge with a friend, according to information from Fox 59.

Kyland Clark told the media that last week on YouTube with your friend a challenge known as the "hot water challenge", in which a person must drink boiling water through a straw or throw it in his body.

It was then that the young people made the decision to joke with the possibility of doing so and when Clark slept, his friend poured him water at extreme temperatures.

"The skin fell from my chest, then I looked in the mirror and the skin detached from my face," said the child, who was diagnosed with burns at second degree on the back, chest and face.

As a result of the events, Clark had to stay in the hospital for a week.

According to doctors at Indiana University Health, an increasing number of participants in viral challenges end up hospitalized.

"People assume that they can try to do it and that they will not be hurt, but they will, I can guarantee it," said Dr. Edward Bartkus.
