Up to 107 years in prison for 3 members of the Sinaloa cartel

A federal judge handed down sentences ranging from 77 to 107 years in prison to three members of Sinaloa cartel who worked under the orders of Joaquín El Chapo Guzmán

In 2015, the judge of the Seventh District of the Federal Criminal Procedure, based in Jalisco , condemned González Leon to 185 years ; Díaz Hernández to 175 years and Hernández Gutiérrez to 107 years .

However, the three criminals appealed and a unitary court ordered the reinstatement of the proceedings. The Attorney General of the Republic had to gather evidence to support his accusation.

After three years ordering the reinstatement of the proceedings, the judge decided to sentence Mario León to 107 years six months in prison and 400 days fine, 19 thousand 040 pesos; to Aarón Díaz to 97 years six months in prison and also 400 days of fine; José Luis Hernández was sentenced to 77 years' imprisonment, six months' imprisonment and 250 days' fine, amounting to 11,900 pesos

. The three men were found responsible for the crimes of organized crime (assumption of crimes against health and kidnapping), qualified homicidal homicide and carrying firearms for the exclusive use of the armed forces.
