WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Spending on construction in United States increased in May thanks to an increase in public and private construction projects, disbursements from the previous month were not as robust as initially thought.
The Commerce Department said Monday that construction expenditures increased by 0.4 percent. April data was revised downwards to show a 0.9% increase instead of the 1.8% increase in previously reported disbursements.

The Economists Interviewed by Reuters Predicted that Construction Expenses in United States advance by 0.5 percent in May. On an interannual basis, the data showed an acceleration of 4.5%
