Under his leadership, the Volkswagen Group's strategy in Mexico focused on strengthening each of its brands; achieving, among other results, a historic sales record with nearly 250,000 vehicles marketed in 2016.

Sundt Jensen graduated from the Naval Academy of Norway and studied management and marketing at the University of Friborg, Switzerland.

After being responsible for projects such as the Sprinter Industrialization in South America for Mercedes-Benz and President and CEO of the National Sales Office of Daimler-Chrysler Scandinavia, Sundt Jensen joined the Volkswagen Group in 2014.
