It apparently took Xiaomi “three major generations, five years, sixty patents, an investment of 77 million dollars and hundreds of engineers“to offer the next major iteration of the selfie cameras found on the newly announced Mi Mix 4.
Its Mix range has been known from the start for striving for the best screen-to-body ratios in the industry, moving from pop-up cameras to sliders, and resulting in the world’s largest mobile phone company now calls it CUP, or under-panel camera.
With its huge 20MP sensor, it beats the The Galaxy Z Fold 3’s 4MP UPC camera which, however, would be with giant 2 micron pixels that would collect much more of the restricted amount of light that passes through the layers of the screen than any individual CUP pixel in the Mi Mix 4.

This latest specification caught our attention because, so far, only the Mi 10 Ultra has been able to boast a charging speed of 120 W. Its 23 minutes of full charge, however, are now pale compared to 15 minutes of charging claimed by the Mi Mix 4.
