MIAMI – Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was rushed to the locker room with a rib injury after receiving a blow from Buffalo Bills defensive end AJ Epenesa during Miami’s second practice of Sunday’s game.

The dolphins said it was questionable to return.

On the fourths and 1s, Epenesa passed Dolphins right tackle Jesse Davis and hit Tagovailoa as he threw a pass. The ball fell incomplete and Tagovailoa took a while to get up before trying to leave the pitch.

However, he collapsed to the ground before reaching the Dolphins sideline and was picked up by coaches before carefully walking to the sideline. Tagovailoa sat on the bench briefly before being transported to the locker room. Jacoby Brissett came on in his place.

Buffalo has a 14-0 lead and sacked Tagovailoa three times before his injury.
