After an explosion of ten years that started with Hunger and Basterds without gloryMichael Fassbender recently left the spotlight. Call it a Snowmaninduced by the bomb, but since this unfortunate bomb, it was only seen in the contract Dark Phoenix. While he is filming Kung Fury 2, the actor has now found his next main role.
The deadline is set for the match of Taika Waititi The next goal wins, An adaptation of the 2014 documentary by Mike Brett and Steve Jamison, who explored the history of the underdogs of the American Samoa National Football Team. In 2001, they lost 31-0 to Australia, but (the spoilers?) Would qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Fassbender will play the team's Dutch coach, Thomas Rongen. Recently announced, filming will begin this fall before Waititi returns to the MCU with Thor: love and thunder.
Meanwhile, the director won first prize at TIFF for Jojo Rabbit, it is interesting to follow in the footsteps of another comic film perhaps lost on the Second World War, Life is Beautiful. Check out the list of winners below as well as our reviews, if any, and check out our festival favorites here.
