Michael Flynn's cooperation with the government has ended, according to his lawyers and federal prosecutors.
The retired US Army General and former National Security Advisor to President Donald Trump had agreed to testify in the case of Special Advocate Robert Mueller after pleading guilty to lying to FBI agents.
He is no longer testifying in a federal inquiry, and prosecutors hope to set a sentencing date as soon as possible.
Flynn's lawyers, however, asked a court for more time to examine the prosecution evidence and repeated their request for security clearance to examine sensitive evidence.
