Michael Strahan was absent from his Good Morning America co-host gig amid reports he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Deadline and TMZ said the 49-year-old former NFL All-Pro player tested positive for the virus, although no official comment was made.
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Strahan who have so far been unavailable for comment.

Strahan is the father of twin 16-year-old daughters, Isabella and Sophia, and according to the publication’s sources, he came in contact with them after being exposed and tested.
As they mainly live with her mother Jean Muggli, she is also being tested and the three have yet to receive their results according to the publication.
Strahan is also the father of his eldest daughter, 28, Tanita and Michael Strahan Jr., 25, from his marriage to Wanda Hutchins from 1992 to 1996.
