Former First Lady Michelle Obama is preparing a children’s show focusing – you guessed it – on healthy eating.

“I’m excited to share that on March 16, I’ll be launching a new show on @Netflix Waffles + Mochi!” the 57 year old man mother of two tweeted Tuesday.

The new Netflix series will follow puppet friends Waffles and Mochi as they leave the land of frozen food and embark on ‘global ingredient missions’ with the help of Obama and a ‘flying magic basket’, according to the official synopsis of the show.

During their culinary pilgrimages, the duo will travel “to kitchens, restaurants, farms and homes around the world, preparing recipes with everyday ingredients alongside renowned chefs, home cooks, children and celebrities.

The project is part of a multi-year deal with Netflix that Michelle and her husband, former President Barack Obama, 59, signed in 2018.

Michelle described “Waffles + Mochi” as a continuation of her efforts to promote children’s health, which started with “Let’s Move!” initiative in 2010, Forbes reported. The campaign aimed to reduce childhood obesity and promote active lifestyles.

“W + M” isn’t just another touchless celebrity PSA. The The program, which is produced by Obama’s Higher Ground Productions, will work with Partnership for a Healthier America to provide fresh ingredients to American families affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

“I am delighted that families and children around the world are joining us on our adventures as we discover, cook and eat delicious food from around the world,” said the first woman to become an influencer.

Since leaving the White House, the couple have also been busy writing books. Barack wrote a book last fall, “A Promised Land” – which quickly became a bestseller – and Michelle published a memoir, “Becoming,” in 2018.

“Waffles + Mochi” premieres on Netflix on March 16.
