Some big plays from the Michigan leaders in defense to force a third straight three-and-out. Linebacker Josh Ross crossed the line of scrimmage and met Jalen Burger in the backfield for a 2-yard loss that led to a third and 9. Christopher Hinton landed his first sack of the season on the third down, but Aidan Hutchinson also put pressure on Mertz while listening to a detention penalty. Wisconsin has just 3 total yards on three drives.
