One of Michigan’s top college basketball prospects in 2020 has left his team.

Lorne Bowman, a three-star goalie from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in Detroit, retired from Wisconsin as he dealt with a family affair that had already led him to take time off in October.

Wisconsin coach Greg Gard confirmed the news on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.
