Mick Jagger goes unnoticed at Charlotte bar and it’s gas, gas, gas

If there were any honky tonk women at the Thirsty Beaver Saloon on Wednesday, they didn’t notice Mick Jagger. No one else either.

The Rolling Stones legend posted a photo of himself having a beer at the Charlotte, North Carolina bar amid seemingly oblivious patrons. “Out and about last night in Charlotte, NC,” he wrote.

Co-owner Brian Wilson has confirmed that guests cannot get any satisfaction from recognizing the 78-year-old rock star. Ditto for the bartender. A few people in the photo even had tickets to the Stones’ concert the next night at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, WSOC-TV reporter Joe Bruno reported.

No wonder Jagger chose this place. He praises on Yelp. “You can’t call yourself Charlottean without visiting the Beav!” a reviewer wrote.

And dig the neighborhood:

The Thirsty Beaver Saloon told the developers to get lost and voila, OurState reported.

Rock on, Thirsty Beaver and Mick Jagger.
