What trail it ages …
Mick Jagger has undergone an operation in the heart of New York and could be released in the coming days, according to a report released Thursday.
Sources told Billboard that the 75-year-old Rolling Stones leader was recovering and in excellent health after the heart valve procedure, where doctors put a stent to support at least one of his arteries.
The eight-year-old father must rest for four to five days for the artery to heal without serious bleeding problems. Then he will need more recovery time before coming back on stage.
The move follows the group's announcement last week that it was stopping the US tour's No Filter tour, which was due to start in a few weeks.
