Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party replaced with new Disney World vacation event

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will not be taking place at Walt Disney World this year.

Instead, the Magic Kingdom will host a new limited-capacity nightly event called Disney Very Merriest After Hours.

The event will take place on select evenings from November 8 to December 21 and will not be covered by regular park admission.

Guests must purchase special tickets for the four-hour festivities, which offer shorter queues to 20 select attractions, numerous holiday bands and a special fireworks show, “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks”.

Tickets for Disney Very Merriest After Hours go on sale in August. Guests staying at select Disney hotels will be able to book earlier.
