Microsoft has announced a large series of independent games through its ID @ Xbox. The 13 newly announced games will join the others for a total of 30 independent games presented on the Microsoft GDC stand.

New additions on Xbox One include Beholder 2, CrossCode, Dead Static Drive, Kickers Gate: Action Squad, Mowin's & Throwin's, Starcrossed and Totem Teller. Another handle has been announced for the Xbox One and the PC: Boomerang Fu, Hyperdot, Stela, The Forgotten City, UnderMine and Unrailed. You can see the complete list of 30 games presented at the GDC on the Xbox blog.

In addition to its ongoing independent support via the ID @ Xbox program, Microsoft has accelerated its studio acquisitions. It is also one of the few major publishers to plan a major exhibition at E3. A host of rumors and reports have begun to circulate, including the announcement of a diskless Xbox option and the unveiling of its next generation console.

Whatever Microsoft has in store, Halo Infinite seems ready to be the centerpiece. We know that this will be shown, and that it targets PC and Xbox One rather than waiting for the next generation of consoles. We also recently received indications that he might adopt a game as a service model, although 343 Industries had to ease his concerns about microtransactions.

The Game Developers Conference will be held March 18-22. It will include a presentation of Google, which could debut in video games.
