Microsoft Excel will now allow you to take a picture from a spreadsheet and import it

Microsoft adds a very useful feature to its mobile Excel applications for iOS and Android. It allows Excel users to take a picture of a printed data table and convert it to a fully editable table in the application. This feature is initially deployed in the Android Excel application, before moving to iOS soon. Microsoft uses artificial intelligence to implement this feature, with image recognition so that Excel users do not have to manually enter paper data. The feature will be available to Microsoft 365 users.

Along with this AI-based feature, Microsoft also sends security alerts related to Microsoft accounts to the company's Authenticator application. These security alerts work for personal accounts such as Outlook.com and include notifications when an account password is changed or any other security-related activity. Alerts are available immediately as part of Microsoft Authenticator for iOS and Android.
