Since February, a series of rumors have suggested that Microsoft will offer its Xbox applications, subscription services and video games on the Nintendo switch.
While the tech giant has already been very busy this week with the revelation of the Halo Master Chief Collection for PC and its Project xCloud broadcast service, the new cross-platform mobile development kit, Microsoft Game Stack, has just been announced.
As can be seen above, this new SDK will allow developers to implement Xbox Live, Azure PlayFab, DirectX, Mixer, etc. on Android and iOS devices. The Microsoft Game Stack web page also refers to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 (see below), but there are no "specific announcements" to share for the moment, according to the Chief of Gaming Microsoft Cloud, Kareem Choudhry:
