Microsoft has announced that it will not release any drafts in December as the company retires by the end of the year.
The Windows maker cites “minimal operations over the holidays and the upcoming Western New Year” as a reason to cut things down. Microsoft adds that things will return to normal in January.

Microsoft is far from alone in slowing down operations towards the end of the year, but that means Windows 10 users can expect to see fewer updates through 2021. Of course, if one serious security issue needs to be resolved, fixes will be issued, but don’t expect to see anything outside of these limits.
As Microsoft explains in a one-page note for update KB4586781:
IMPORTANT Due to minimal operations during the holidays and the upcoming Western New Year, there will not be a preview release for December 2020. Monthly maintenance will resume with the January 2021 security releases.
