The prototype was more for Centaurus, a dual-screen PC previously mentioned that would look more than anything to the disadvantage of the unfortunate Courier. It will run a lighter version of Windows (nicknamed Windows Lite or Core OS) and will serve as a standard backup for an expected wave of hybrid dual screen tablet / laptop. Intel is supposed to "work closely" with Microsoft on the project.
You may not have to wait too long to see the device yourself. According to the report, Microsoft could release Centaurus in the next six months, which shows that the previous system indicates that the machine is still in the development stage. At this point, the question is whether it will be sufficiently capable (and affordable enough) to arouse the interest of the category. Previous attempts at dual-screen devices have yielded mixed results, and there is no guarantee that Microsoft will be of interest even though design and technical specifications are exceptional.
