Microsoft may have fixed what was not broken with the Windows 10 BSOD printer fix

If you’re the type of person who would be amused to learn that a humble printer can filter your entire Windows 10 PC blue, here’s a dose of schadenfreude to greet you in the weekend: when Microsoft tried to to fix these blue screen issues with a Monday fix, the fix may not have gone as expected – some users started reporting that their printers were simply spitting out blank pages or those with missing graphics.

Now the company has released a second patch to fix these issues as well (via ZDNet):

Microsoft has identified an issue that affects Windows 10 devices that applied the March 2021 security update released on March 9, 2021 and out-of-band updates released on March 15, 2021, and a resolution has been expedited. Affected devices may receive unexpected results when printing from certain applications or to certain printers. Problems may include missing or solid color graphics, alignment / formatting issues, or printing blank pages / labels.

Some users say it works and can even fix additional blue screen computers. Some say they still have problems. If you are concerned, good luck to you!
