The Microsoft Surface Pro X is now available in a Wi-Fi only version. Microsoft is offering a version of its ARM-based Surface device that does away with cellular connectivity.
Cellular connectivity on the Surface Pro X has been a bit of a thorny issue. The high-end version of the Surface Pro X uses a custom SQ2 processor based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor. To go along with the new version of Surface Pro X, Microsoft has also announced some improvements to ARM’s Windows 11 support: including an optimized version of Office with 64-bit add-in support and full support for Windows 11. x86 and x64 emulation.
The Surface Pro X Wi-Fi-only is expected to be available to order today for $ 899.
