If you are having problems connecting to Microsoft teams today, you are not alone. Microsoft has not yet acknowledged the existence of a crash on its Microsoft 365 Service Health dashboard, but many Twitter users have complained that they can not connect to the teams this morning.

The Microsoft Teams page on the Downdetector website also shows a sharp increase in the number of users experiencing connection and connection problems with the server today.

We contacted Microsoft to find out if the company was aware of the outage and we will update this message if we hear anything in return. We are using Microsoft Teams here at OnMSFT, and some of us have finally managed to connect to our PCs after restarting the application and trying to log in multiple times. The crash also seems to affect the Microsoft Teams Web application, but you may have more luck using the iOS and Android apps. If you are a team user unable to log in, do not forget that Skype is always available to you and your team as an alternative.

Update 6:50 AM PST: Microsoft eventually acknowledged that some users could not access Microsoft Teams and Office 365 administrators were asked to check for updates in the Administration Center.
