Microsoft tests wish list reduction notifications on Xbox One

Microsoft launched the Xbox One Spring Sale, offering a large pool of the console game library to celebrate the new season. The sale brings discounts for Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and up, saving up to 85% on its digital range.

The latest Xbox One sale has highlighted a new feature in the Xbox One pipeline, bringing custom rebate notifications for your Xbox Wish List. As noted in the Xbox One sub-account, users receive messages for different truncated titles through the Xbox Live messaging system.

Larry Hryb, director of Xbox Live programming, dropped on Reddit to confirm that Microsoft was testing the feature for "a small group of people", looking for feedback on its implementation. If all goes well, we can expect a full deployment in the coming months, perhaps in time for the next seasonal sale.

Microsoft continues to evolve the Xbox One's Microsoft Store, started with a complete redesign in 2017, then through a full-fledged shopping cart and wish list. A notification system should prove useful, it is already commonplace on Steam to track transactions on its market.

In the meantime, do not miss our horizon tour of the best Xbox Spring Sale offers available until April 22nd.
