If you are not too concerned about physical media, you can get a brand new Xbox One S for $ 50 cheaper than usual.
Yesterday, Microsoft inaugurated its Xbox One S All Digital Edition, which is essentially an Xbox One S without a Blu-Ray player. Instead, the system contains a 1 terabyte drive to store digital downloads. It also comes pre-loaded with three games: Forza Horizon 3, the sea of thieves, and Minecraft.

The system will sell for $ 249.99, which is $ 50 less than a brother's disk drive. Specifically, it is supposed to be designed for "digital natives": players, mostly of the Z generation, who prefer downloads to physical media.

This happens, however, at a time when fans are more concerned than ever about preserving their purchases in an increasingly digital world. Fortunately, 1 TB contains a lot of games, even the most upscale. And Xbox compatible discs will remain available, probably for a long time. According to Xbox's general manager of marketing, Jeff Gattis, "I do not see the disc go away."
The all-digital version of the Xbox One S will be released on May 7 and pre-orders are open.
