Microsoft's Chromium-based Edge Browser Leaks Online Here Where You Can Install It OnMSFT.com

As it has been widely reported, Microsoft has been working on rebuilding its Microsoft Edge Web browser under Chromium, the background that powers Google Chrome, and soon Microsoft Edge.

The Chromium-based Microsoft installation should allow the browser to be used on third-party platforms outside of Windows 10, such as Apple's macOS.

The browser has not yet been officially launched and has recently been tested, but the full download of Microsoft's new Edge browser leaked online. Posted to the PCBeta forum and spotted by Aggiornamenti, it is possible to download a ZIP file containing a Setup.exe file, which then installs Microsoft Edge Chromium-based in its entirety.

Of course, as this is not an official version of Microsoft, use caution if you plan to install this package because it has not been independently verified and without risk. If you're worried about security, wait until a public preview is available, which we do not think is too far away.
