Microsoft's Edge browser for Mac leaks, downloadable at the beginning

Microsoft just teased its Edge browser for macOS yesterday, but now the download links appeared online a little earlier. Twitter user WalkingCat discovered the official Microsoft download links to the daily versions of Edge for Mac channeled by Chromium and the weekly versions of Dev. Microsoft is working to support Mac keyboard shortcuts and experiment with button placement so that its browser looks like a Mac application.

Microsoft also adds touch bar support, with options for media control sliders and the ability to switch tabs from the touchbar. The rounded corners of the tabs are also available in the macOS Edge version and Microsoft plans to bring this same user interface to Windows. Microsoft has also announced new privacy controls for Edge and a new Collections feature that collects images, text, and general notes from the web. These new features are not yet available in the Mac version of Edge, but the company plans to include them in Windows and MacOS versions.

Since the download links (from Microsoft servers) are live, it is fair to say that Microsoft will make Edge for Mac officially available very soon. If you do not want to wait, here are the download links from Microsoft:
