Microsoft’s new Xbox Night Mode darkens your screen, controller, and power button

Microsoft is working on a new night mode for Xbox consoles. The software giant began testing this night mode with Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead Ring today, and it allows Xbox owners to dim their screens, the brightness of the controller’s LEDs, and even the d button. Xbox power supply.

Night mode has a lot of customization, including different dimming levels and an optional blue light filter. Microsoft also allows Xbox owners to turn down the LED brightness on their controllers in this night mode and turn the Xbox power button light down or off. You can also set up an Xbox to switch the system to dark mode and turn off HDR when night mode is on.

This Xbox Night Mode can also be set to a schedule, manual or automatic, that will turn it on at sunset and turn it off at sunrise. Microsoft is currently testing this with Xbox Insiders, so expect to see it filter through the various test channels in the coming weeks before arriving on all Xbox consoles soon.
