Mike Dean had everyone in the music thinking he maybe abandoned ship on Kanye westIt’s forever delayed album – but the guy says he brought it to fruition, despite a few weird tweets.
The legendary producer and hitmaker has been the subject of a lot of guesswork over the past 24 hours due to what people saw as warning signs that things were wrong between him and Ye … and all. creative process behind “Donda” – which remains is not yet released.
Mike had tweeted things like “F *** IT”… and later responded to a fan who suggested that Kanye’s whole display of it was unhealthy by saying, “Toxic. That’s it.” He was also posting photos of him outside, and people thought that meant he had finally escaped. KW’s bunker.
After rumors circulated that he had calmed down and left “Donda” behind …
I mean toxic fans asking silly writers questions. Jesus. People are excluded from the context. MDR. Bye

As for all the “toxic” stuff … Mike has also since clarified that he’s mostly been talking about incessant fans pestering him about the release date, suggesting that they are the toxic themselves. That said, he also seems to think the Mercedes-Benz stadium air could be a bit toxic as well, and is just happy to stretch his legs a bit.
BTW, Mike has by no means been held hostage there – he’s been keen to respond to that in recent weeks as well.

Still, it’s been a long, arduous journey to release this record – and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight at this point as Kanye continues to holed up in the stadium and burn the midnight oil to tinker with the final product. This, of course, after TWO listening events.
In this month’s last offering, Kanye was seen talking to someone on the phone… right in the middle of the performance. Dean said it was actually him Ye was talking to… apparently, due to some sort of mix request, Kanye wanted it dealt with here and there.
So, yeah… Mike was the thick of it all for this one – and given Kanye’s perfectionist attitude towards “Donda,” understandable people took the plunge assuming MD was fed up. It turns out, however, that he isn’t … at least not with this part.
