Receiver Mike Evans was not on the field to end the week of testing, but the Buccaneers hope he will be ready to face the 49ers on Sunday.
The Bucs prevented Evans from training on Friday because he was sick and head coach Bruce Arians said, via Greg Auman of TheAthletic.com, that its availability for the opening of the season will not be impacted.
Although the team is waiting to see if Evans is in good health by Sunday, they have already decided that linebacker Lavonte David and defensive tackle Vita Vea would be ready to leave. Both men had knee problems this summer and it was feared that Vea would stay in the regular season, but Arians said he would play this weekend.
Security Justin Evans and quarterback Blaine Gabbert were the only two Bucs players to be excluded from the first game.
