Jose Altuve’s three-run homerun capped a savage ninth-inning rally for the Astros, which saw Houston score six times for an 8-7 victory.

The Mets spat two runs early in the ninth inning of their 6-5 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Despite the loss, the Mets are heading for the all-star break by taking first place in the National League East, 3.5 games ahead of second place in the Philadelphia Phillies.
