Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas and father of the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, criticized Senator Mitt Romney for his critical statement on President Trump.

"Know what makes me sick, Mitt?" Mike Huckabee tweeted Friday. "It's not dishonest to take @realDonaldTrump $$ and then, 4 years later, to jealousy of it jealously and then love it again when you prayed to be Secretary of State." but it makes me sick that you were nominated GOP candidate and that it could have been @POTUS. "

The tweet was posted shortly after Romney posted his declaration on the publication of the expunged Mueller report.

"I am disgusted by the magnitude and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misapprehensions on the part of the people in the highest positions in the country, including the president," Romney said.

"I am also dismayed by the fact that, among other things, citizens working in a campaign for the presidency have welcomed Russian assistance, including information obtained illegally; none of them acted to inform the American law enforcement agencies; and that the campaign president was actively defending Russian interests in Ukraine, "continued Romney.

"Reading the report is a sobering revelation that we have moved away from the aspirations and principles of the founders," he added.
