The Seahawks held their first regular season training of the 2019 season Wednesday at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton. As the club began preparations for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, four Seattle players were injured.
Joey Hunt (ankle), goaltender Mike Iupati (foot), wide receiver David Moore (shoulder) and the Duane Brown tackle (knee) were among the players expected for the opening of the training week . Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll gave an update on Iupati prior to Wednesday's training, saying he would take a "one day at a time" approach with the veteran, who had missed almost all training camp.

On Wednesday, only a few players were injured during the pre-season, including George Fant (ankle), receiver DK Metcalf (knee) and linebacker Shaquem Griffin (knee), as well as defensive ends LJ Collier (ankle) and Ziggy Ansah (shoulder). Receiver Jaron Brown (toe) and newly-acquired defensive wing Jadeveon Clowney (unrelated to injury) were also limited on Wednesday.
