A source told MLB.com that Moustakas had accepted a one – year contract to return to the Brewers, pending a physical contract. Ken Rosenthal, an MLB network insider, was the first to announce the deal, and USA TODAY reports that the transaction will bring Moustakas $ 10 million back. The team did not confirm the contract.

Moustakas reduced .251 / .315 / .459 with 28 homers and a career record with 95 RBIs last season between Kansas City and Milwaukee. The Brewers traded against him at the end of July and transferred Shaw to second base, then warmed up and won the Central League Central.
