US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo "ruled out" a candidacy for Kansas for the Senate in 2020.

During talks last month, Pompeo did not rule out the possibility of running for Roberts' s siege, merely saying that he intended to serve Trump as long as the president would like. in its current functions.
"Many people have contacted me and suggested that I should do it," Pompeo told Fox News last month. "I suggested they have a very busy plate as Secretary of State and I intend to continue to do so as long as President Trump will engage."
