“Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, have announced they are expecting a baby, nearly a year after the couple revealed that Lauren had miscarried.
“We have a baby situation,” Mike, 38, wrote on social media under a photo of him and Lauren, 35, kissing over an ultrasound and a huge pile of flour with “Baby Sorrentino May 2021” drawn in it.
Their “Jersey Shore” buddies quickly sent out congratulatory messages and offers of advice, including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who commented on Lauren’s announcement: “So happy for you mawma! Always here for you! Call me when your nipples are the size of a small plate. “

Co-star Pauly D, meanwhile, commented on Mike’s post: “Now that’s a situation man !!!!” and Deena Cortese, who is pregnant with her second child, said she and Lauren would be “pregnancy friends”.
The Sorrentines revealed their pregnancy loss last fall on ABC’s “Strahan, Sara and Keke”. “The night he came home [from prison] we really designed, ”Lauren explained. “And then at about six and a half, seven weeks, I had a miscarriage.

“I didn’t want to hold it back,” she added. “I wanted to share it with other people who are going through it and be honest so that I can kind of heal the whole process.”

Mike was released from prison on September 12, 2019, after serving eight months on tax evasion charges.
