Mike Tyson may have just revealed the classic video game offered by Nintendo. The video game giant has recently announced that it has some extra surprises for Nintendo Switch owners starting in 2019, as well as the return of an older series. And just to speculate on what this old series might start to turn out, Tyson stepped in on Twitter.

"heard @ Nintendo did the new "punch out" without even contacting me. it will not be the same thing. my knockouts made the match. it's the shot, "he tweeted on Thursday. It adds up.

While this may just be a blatant misinformation from Tyson, we really hope to be able to get back to Little Mac's green shorts and bring out a new group of champions. Tyson's definitely made a name from the beginning. Punch-Out was published in 1987 – originally titled Mike Tyson's punch-out !! The tweet has also inspired other rumors about a possible Punch-Out movie with Tyson. Honestly, we would look at that. Nintendo could make it official this month in April Direct, if it really wants to bring back the video game for sale, so hopefully, we will not have to wait long for confirmation.

Nintendo has also recently unveiled more information about its VR Lab, including a new support for two of the switch's bestsellers: Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda: Breath of Nature. Punch-Out seems to be the ideal opportunity to expand this library. With games such as Creed and Knockout League, it's clear that boxing is perfectly suited to virtual reality. It's quite fair that we see the father of boxing games also receive VR treatment.

Mr. Dream's version of Punch-Out has been recently reissued on the NES Switch Online app, so it has preoccupied everyone – and perhaps an appetizer for the future. By the way, Tyson did not like this news either.

Nintendo gives us a lot of reasons to be excited on the horizon with Pokemon Sword and Shield, Mario Maker 2, and the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Hope a new Punch-Out joined this list.
