Miley Cyrus’ father is not happy with her today.
The former “Hannah Montana” student spent her Tuesday afternoon climbing around Billy Ray Cyrus’ daddy’s truck as she promoted his new merchandise. The singer herself posed atop the Nissan in a cut-out pink t-shirt that reads “Miley Cyrus Made Me Realize I’m Gay” along with a few more daring lines.
Turning the hot pink number into a full look, the “Plastic Hearts” musician then buckled up a silver buckle belt and set of eye-catching designer heels. The gold strappy sandals are courtesy of Gucci, for whom Cyrus is the ambassador, and feature a mid-height block heel with a metallic upper; similar models of the brand sell for $ 890 at Nordstrom.
Earlier this week, Cyrus claimed the rights to his most infamous invention – “teenage punk rock reality angst.”
The “Wrecking Ball” musician took to Instagram last night to preview her latest performance rehearsal, going for some edgy style in the mix. Her ensemble featured a cut-out gray suit-style waistcoat with matching cropped pants and ruffled socks.
The finishing touch to the ensemble came in the form of low top sneakers with a textured print and contrasting white trim.
As for Cyrus herself, the singer is no stranger to a sensational style moment. While best known for her hit albums and box office movies, the former Disney Channel student is also dipping her toes into the fashion and shoe space. She even made a runway appearance at the Marc Jacobs Fall / Winter 2020 runway show and has also been at the front of the catwalks of top brands such as Tom Ford and Saint Laurent. The “LOL” actress has also worked with Converse on a series of proud shoe collections.
The Converse collaborator has also been a vegan for years, which has led her to adopt cruelty-free wardrobe pieces often. In fact, at last year’s Met Gala, Cyrus paired a Saint Laurent mini dress with a custom vegan leather version of the brand’s Paige platform sandals. Her other must-have fashion and apparel designers include all the brands that can make her look remarkable – think Versace, Saint Laurent, Alexandre Vauthier, and Azalea Wang, among others.
