In a December interview with Rolling Stone, she spoke about the White Wedding singer’s influence on her music and said he taught her a lot about musical “balance”.

“His music… the way he espoused the rebellion but also his music where he had incredible hooks. And he showed me that I can have a balance, that I can make music that me and the others like, ”she said.

She later brought a hip hop touch to her set by hosting Wiz and Juicy J. The trio performed Bandz a Make Her Dance, during which she knelt down after twerking.

She shared a carousel of images from the night as she gushed: “To my group, to my team, to my creative partners and to my team – You are the best in the world f ** king!” There is so much [heart] in this show! F ** K and the audience last night had enough energy to power a rocket! I like you!’

In addition to playing a few songs from her recent album Plastic Hearts, she also released The Kid LAROI for Without You and sent it back to some old folks like the banger Party In The USA.

Lollapalooza was canceled last year amid the coronavirus pandemic, and Miley certainly made up for lost time with her action-packed performance.
